Juoksijan workshop
Haluatko kehittyä juoksijana ja vähentää loukkaantumisriskiä? Tule mukaan juoksijoille suunnattuun työpajaan, jossa keskitytään liikkuvuutta kehittäviin harjoituksiin sekä samalla suorituskyvyn parantamiseen ja vammojen ehkäisyyn. Workshop totutetaan englanniksi Samuel Archambaultin (PT, Manual therapist) toimesta.
- Understand basic mobility concepts
- Know how to mobilize and strengthen 3 major joints of the body (upper back, shoulders and hips)
- Participate in a mobility routine for the whole body
Who this is course for
This workshop is primarily aimed at all runners, sport and fitness enthusiasts over the age of 18 who are motivated to learn more on how to move their body efficiently and how to use that mobility in their everyday life. This workshop is for people who are interested in prevention and longevity of their joints. It doesn’t teach how to cure specific medical conditions.
The course is conducted in English, so participants must have a good understanding of spoken English.
Content
During the workshop, all participants will learn why mobility is important and what are the key concepts to understand when training mobility. They will undergo a panel of mobility tests to assess their current conditions and will experience a mobility routine tailored to those needs. This routine includes stretching, corrective exercises, active mobility movement, and myofascialre.
